Inventory of Historical Assets
"Each historical commission is expected to compile and maintain the inventory of the community's
historic assets. The inventory must be comprehensive for all types and periods of resources. It
must be representative of all areas, buildings, structures, and sites that are historically,
architecturally, archaeologically, or culturally significant to the city or town. At a minimum,
the inventory must contain information locating the property, documenting its historical,
architectural, and/or archaeological significance within the overall context of the community's
development, and depicting it through photographs."
